Out of Print

The ever-present bookworm and smartie-pants in me is absolutely in love with these products by Out of Print.

I particularly like that the duo behind the designs have plastered my favourite covers from two of my favourite books onto these comfy-looking jumpers.

AWEH.tv have an interview with the guys where they talk about their mission plus the work they do for charity.

Buy their stuff here.

Q & A

Not so long ago, Lucy from Being of Sound Mind asked me some questions about my life in Korea.  I usually write completely random, sporadic posts about stuff I've seen or, more often lately, stuff that my affiliation with VICE.com points me towards (I'm sorry about the lack of more original posting, I've been so busy with Chincha and other projects and I genuinely do love their articles and videos), so my answers were very different from the type of stuff you normally see on my blog.

I really enjoyed answering them though and I feel like her well-thought out questions were probing, in a positive way.  If you are (for some inexplicable reason) interested in my day-to-day life, or are interested in what it's like to live in Korea (more explicable) then take a look at it here.

There are also pictures of my face on her blog, in case you were wondering what it looks like.

Guilty Pleasures

I had a low-culture night yesterday, where I caught up on all the trashy TV shows I've missed while doing intelligently important or importantly intelligent things (like trying, really trying, to read Schindler's List).  I also indulged in some hard-hitting journalism during the mandatory ad breaks, like this article about Karoline Kurkova having no belly button. AND, I found an intriguing flashing picture of Katy Perry before and after photoshop on some random website.

In short, I acted like the ultimate stereotype of a teenager.  But whatevs, it felt decadent and dreamy and it made me zone out of reality for a period of time.  You know you're having the time of your life when you're watching 90210 and your most pressing thought is which fictional character is the hottest (Liam) and which one has the best dress sense (Ivy).

Other life-altering thoughts that crossed my mind last night:

1. Ivy has a slightly better dress sense than Gillian Zinser, who plays her.
2. They both wear a lot of hats.
3. I think I like hats.
4. Katy Perry looks alright without being photoshopped.
5. I probably 'would'.
6. For such a crap pop song, I really love Teenage Dream.
7. I would prefer no belly button to an outy belly button.
8. Schindler's List is like, really hard to read.

THE END.

Of Books And Bags

After reading my post on how much I was drooling over the Olympia Le-Tan bags, a friend of mine did a spot of research and pointed me to this little piece of homemade craftiness.

Turns out other people do put in effort to gain their desires.  Anyway, isn't it twee?  Here's the post on how to make your own clutchbook.
