The older I get, the more attracted I become to brash streetwear from brands I haven't coveted since I was in primary school (I would have killed for some joggers with poppers when I was nine).
It doesn't help when those brands enlist the help of designer Jeremy Scott and Korean girlband-of-the-moment 2ne1 to add kudos to their wares, like Adidas has done recently.
I haven't loved a girlband so much that I wanted to crimp my hair and wear trainers since my infatuation with The Spice Girls in 2008.
Is this a quarter-life crisis or something?

Now when I was at school, Adidas was an acronym for 'after dinner, I did a shit'. Didn't stop me making a skirt out of a pair if 70's adidas jogging bottoms when I was 18 though. Adidas have some sort of ability to retain credibility, I loved my Stan Smith trainers during my quarter life crisis. It's sportswear for sports now, how boring is the midlife crisis? Stay young!
